Two weeks ago, at Audi HQ in Ingolstadt, Germany, the three competitors of the Audi Q2 Challenge unveiled their work. Our friends at AH Exclusive Parts (@ahexclusiveparts), headed by Alois Hankofer, were one of the three tuners selected to compete and we were fortunate enough to get some camera time with the car while it was on display in Ingolstadt.
Alois’ vision with the car is right up our alley, complimented by Recaro Sportster CS seats, custom roll bar, and a full alcantara upholstery, and rolling on the all-new Vossen Forged ML-R2 wheel in a fully polished with brushed face finishing configuration and powder coated in Light Smoke transparent.
After being on display during XS Car Night and throughout the town of Velden am Worthersee over the past two weeks it’s finally time for the people to decide the best build of the Audi Q2 Challenge. Of course, our vote goes out to the AH Exclusive build, but not just because it’s riding on our Vossen Forged wheels (even though some of the executives walking around the Audi campus seemed quite intrigued!).
Inside the Audi Q2 the color-coded roll bar and Recaro seat backs blend perfectly with the red exterior tone, and the newly-trimmed alcantara brings a new level of luxury to the already-luxurious German interior.
H&R’s super deep coilovers bring the cAudi Q2 all the way down while still retaining a comfortable ride quality. The Vossen Forged ML-R2 sneakily reveals an RS brake conversion on the front axle, and the carbon bits throughout the inside and outside confirm the performance vision.
Given the Audi Q2’s limited storage space and the addition of the roll bar, the boot is now just a little on the small side when traveling longer distances with luggage, so an OEM Audi roof rack and cargo box have been added for those long hauls, such as Ingolstadt to Worthersee!
Please head over to the Audi Deutschland Facebook page now and use the ‘haha’ emoji to cast your vote for Alois and the AH Exclusive Audi Q2 on Vossen Forged wheels!
