It’s no secret that Audi has been doing a tremendous job of pin-pointing the performance side of the German car market—we all know that. But there’s something about this Audi RS5 on Vossen Forged: Precision Series by TAG Motorsports that just ticks all of our boxes. Nardo Grey, Lamborghini’s Arianco Borealis finished brakes, Accuair suspension, and of course, our VPS-306 forged wheels (made here in our factory in Miami) create an ensemble of pure exhilaration—and we haven’t even had the chance to take it for a spin yet!

Dubbed “Project Nardo” for it’s exclusive Audi color, Nardo Grey, TAG’s build is quite extensive considering the car has only been in their hands around a year. With a color as unique and plainly complex as Nardo Grey, however, selecting the most complimentary finish for wheels can be quite the undertaking. Alex, owner of TAG Motorsports, chose Satin Bronze to complement the timeless German grey, resulting in a subtle-but-elegant palette.

In addition to Vossen Forged wheels, Project Nardo sports AWE Tuning‘s Track Extreme Exhaust and Accuair’s B8 Sportkit with iLevel™, Accuair’s wifi receiver that provides wireless control of their e-Level™system through both Apple iOS and Android devices. A careful eye will notice that European-spec headlights have been swapped in to replace their less-desirable US-spec counterparts, and XPEL’s Clear Bra Protection kit has been applied to the front clip, insuring that the exclusive Nardo Grey stays free of stone chips.

Vossen is extremely excited to work with TAG Motorsports on the final revision of their Project Nardo build, as it’s now up for sale to make way for new 2015 projects in the TAG Motorsports paddocks.
