We traveled across Florida, from Miami to Fort Myers, last month to attend Eurotripper 3. The third annual showing of VWs, Audis, and anything else euro at Jet Blue Ballpark, the training grounds for the Boston Red Sox, Eurotripper 3 was our first local show of the year. After two wildly successful years, Eurotripper 3 was bigger than ever, and we couldn’t be more excited to have been a part of it!
We teamed up with our friends at Naplespeed, a newly-founded tuning firm with roots coming from VW of Naples and Audi of Naples, to bring a wide array of German cars, including our Audi S8 on 22″ flow formed VFS1 wheels, as well as Naplesspeed’s Mk7 GTI on 20″ CVT wheels, and Zack Moro’s Sakhir Orange BMW M4 on Vossen Forged: Precision Series VPS-310 wheels.
Rounding out the roundel lineup we had Kat’s BMW 328i Touring on 20″ limited-edition VLE-1 wheels and a white BMW 650i on 22″ VFS1 wheels, as well as an Audi S5 Cabriolet on VFS1 wheels—a popular choice among Audi enthusiasts!
Eurotripper 3 brought a lot more than european automobiles, though. In a parking lot adjacent to the show area Rob Nolli’s BMX Trick Stars set up a little show, including a quarter pipe and table top, along with a large area for flatland freestyle. Rob’s show was a crowd-pleaser, for sure, attracting hundreds of people to the blacktop to see Rob jump over a showgoer!
Eurotripper 3 also brought a wide array of aircooled VWs, a nice change of pace to the usual new-model watercooled VWs. If only we could get an old VW Bus as our next World Tour ride, then we’d really be in style!
And as if Eurotripper 3 wasn’t an awesome time already, all proceeds from the show go to the Brooke’s Legacy Animal Rescue, an organization that gives animals a second chance. They had some of the most adorable pups hanging around all day, as one of our resident animal lovers, Kat, quickly found!
Eurotripper 3 was a great success and an awesome way to kick off the show season in South Florida. We’d like to thank the organizer, Paul Barney, for his dedication in organizing such a great event. It’s people like Paul, and his staff, that make an event so easy and enjoyable to attend, and we truly appreciate it!
