After attending the last exciting round of Formula Drift in Atlanta we couldn’t wait to go to the next stage which was held on a very very hot day in sunny Orlando. Teaming up with our friends at RS-R who came all the way from California, we collaborated on our booths and some feature cars.

The fans and crowd was very enthusiastic at the event even in the very hot weather. We showcased our new Vossen x Work wheels along with our new Flow Formed VFS-6 and our flagship Vossen Forged Precision Series. We also brought our Vossen Forged color box for everyone to review our different in-house colors and finishes and our brand new Vossen Forged catalogs!

KJ’s RS-R sport-i coilover equipped Lexus RC F on our new LC-107 wheels was one of our feature cars.

We also showcased Diego’s GTR, and Iqbal’s bagged G37 sedan on new Vossen x Work wheels!

RS-R’s V-8 powered FR-S was also in attendance all the way from California and we will showcase this sweet build very shortly!

Of course the highlight of FormulaD is the drifting!! After attending the required media meeting we got our vests to get super close to the drivers competing on the track. It adds a certain amount of flair to Dela’s outfit as you can see below lol.

Nothing like some fresh rubber on our faces to get some of these awesome action shots!

Closing things out, Fredric Aasbo won this round in his RS-R suspension equipped Scion tC! Pretty good way to end the day’s events!

Our Vossen Project C63 Black Series debuted at SEMA 2012  on Vossen Forged VPS-305 Wheels, a wheel which shook up the whole industry with its “infini-lip” and precision multi-spoke cuts in the design. We truly enjoyed our time with this car, a truly rare V-8 beast that turned heads with its looks and its amazing sound!

We debuted the original video sometime ago and said goodbye to the Black Series as well but decided to bring it back for our new “Throwback Thursday” series. We get a lot of requests to feature older model/generation cars and figured what better day to showcase them. So for the time being, expect to see some cool cars featured on Thursdays here at Vossen!
