I’ve always been a huge fan of Audi’s vision, along with a significant number of others, considering their sales in May 2015 were the second best month since the company entered the US market in 1970. All it takes is one look at their current line-up of RennSport (RS) models to see the appeal.

Packed with ungodly amounts of power, the RS cars, such as the RS7, are nothing short of vicious. Add a company like APR into the equation, with their performance suites catered specifically to VW and Audi engines, and you’ll be grinning ear-to-ear with the results. After spending time behind the wheel and riding along in the APR-tuned S8, RS4, and RS7, and having my own Mk7 GTI tuned as well, I can honestly say “shame on VW/Audi” for detuning their engines so drastically, and in the same sentence, “thank you APR!” for bringing it back to life! AWE Tuning’s Carbon Fiber intake brings a bit more of the engine’s breath out, while a Milltek Sport Exhaust system brings the growl out from hiding.

When 700 horsepower is at your disposal, and your RS7 is equipped with some of the most impressive OEM steel brakes in the industry, the only logical ‘next step’ is forged wheels. Engineered and manufactured right here in our Miami facilities, Vossen Forged wheels are at the intersection of passion, performance, and precision.

The only question left is “what design do I choose?” I think it’s safe to say that we, here at Vossen, make that both easy and difficult, by offering a baker’s dozen of great forged designs, making it almost too hard to choose.

But in Zach’s case, with his RS7, the VPS-306 was a no-brainer. Measuring 21×10.5 on each corner to appease the Quattro gods above, these Vossen Forged wheels are hand-brushed with a matte clear powdercoat—a classic choice for such an elegant RS7.
