It’s all in the name: StillStatic. Staying true to their roots and combatting the ever-growing air suspension prevalence in the automotive industry, Si Sweetland and his crew are pushing the boundaries of what has previously been associated with static suspension setups. Low is the name of the game for Si, and the Stillstatic Audi A4 on Vossen Forged LC-105T Wheels is just the latest testament in his conquest on air.

We had the pleasure of linking up with Si on our last European journey, both in the UK for the Vossen UK Owners meet and Early Edition (features coming soon!) as well as in Wörthersee, Austria (also coming soon!). It was one thing to see him in Northampton, so close to home and driving his static A4 around, but catching up with him a week later and 1000 miles away was a great example of how finely-tuned the StillStatic components really are.

At a height most cars on air suspension wouldn’t dare driving, Sweetland’s meticulously-white Audi A4 is a perfect candidate for the all-new Vossen Forged LC-105T. Designed and manufactured in Vossen’s Miami-based, TUV Verified facilities, these LC-105T forged wheels are fully polished and powdercoated gloss clear entirely in-house, guaranteeing the utmost precision.

Measuring 21×9 on all four corners, Si’s LC-105Ts are a a perfect for his height and look, tucking nicely inside the extended front fenders and allowing for full turning flexibility. Hiding behind the LCs are custom-finished RS4 brakes, bearing the StillStatic name and showcasing another of Si’s areas of expertise: cross platform brake applications.

In April, as part of our travels to Wörthersee, we stopped off in the UK for a couple days to visit our friends at Prestige Wheel Centre. We talked with owner, Delroy, a bit whilst planning and quickly concluded that a quick stop wasn’t going to do the up-and-coming UK Team Vossen nearly enough justice. So as a result, we teamed up with Prestige to host the inaugural Vossen UK Owners Meet 2015!

Vossen owners and enthusiasts travelled from all over the UK to be there, some traveling over 4 hours just to come say hello.

Our friend, Si Sweetland, of Still-Static, came out with Wayne Russell (Edition38) and his Still-Static-equipped Audi S5 on our limited-edition VLE-1 wheels.

And even though this SQ5’s owner, Ian Kelly, was in Dubai at the time of our event, his dear friend, Paul Brown of C6 Carbon, made the several-hour trek for him to show off one of our favorite Vossen cars at the meet.

Amar, from Team SPB, brought out his Mercedes CLS, stopping the show with hydraulic suspension and our CV7 wheels. More photos of the CLS can be found below.

This Mk6 VW Golf R duo was a great treat to see as well, and an exercise of the eyes, as one was built to be much wider than the other—can you tell which?

After the meet we gathered a few of the cars and headed out to capture some rolling shots—a perfect ending to a great day with our new friends from the UK. As we look back on the trip we can’t wait for our next, and we thank everyone who made their way to the inaugural Vossen UK Owners Meet 2015.
