The Vossen Forged Precision Series is where our journey into in-house manufacturing first began, over five years ago now in 2013. While a few cars were used in the initial marketing of the forged program, the white 458 Italia was a standout, catching a lot of attention when it went for sale. The white 458 was soon sold and replaced with another 458, this time in Rosso Fuoco Opaco, a deep matte metallic red, which we managed to shoot with the original white 458 as well. Fast forward a few years, with a fully-operational, TÜV Verified forged wheel factory running around the clock, and the subject matter remains mostly the same, albeit slightly updated to stay current with the times; a duo of Novitec-outfitted (@novitecgroup) Ferrari 488 GTBs on Vossen Forged Wheels. The white 488 is part of Vossen’s fleet, wearing the Vossen Forged S17-01 wheels in brushed Dark Smoke finish and complementing the Rosso Corsa Novitec Ferrari 488 GTB on Vossen Forged VPS-310 wheels just perfectly.

Looking right at home in Prestige Imports’ (@prestigeimports) new showroom, the Italian duo lit up the night, showcasing the Novitec x Vossen style. German carbon fiber aero parts, American forged aluminum wheels and Italian turbocharged powerplants tend to light up just about anything, though.

If there’s one thing that the past year of traveling to shows has taught us, it’s that bolt-on aero kits are here to stay. While there are a variety of designers pumping out new kits for different makes and models, it’s Greddy x Rocket Bunny that are opening up the new Lexus RC platform to the bolt-on aero kit goodness. Debuted at Importfest, this Rocket Bunny Lexus RC Duo stopped the show.

Basit Mirza (@ifestrc350), organizer of Importfest and owner of the Infrared Lexus RC 350, and Paul Samuel (@ofcrplz), owner of the seafoam green-wrapped Lexus RC F were kind enough to join us the Sunday after Importfest on the outskirts of Toronto’s Distillery District for a little photo and video shoot. In no time, we fired off some rolling shots along the way, and settled into a scenic view of the Toronto’s skyline for an evening of photo/video goodness.

Basit’s Lexus RC 350 is outfitted with Rocket Bunny’s full aero kit and finished in the original Infrared paint by Auto Matrix. Air Runner (@airrunner_systems) and Accuair (@accuair) management work in conjunction allowing Basit to maneuver the battlefield that is Toronto’s roads while laying the car out when parked.

To best suit the elegance of Basit’s RC, the Vossen Forged: Precision Series VPS-310 was chosen, in a full-polish with brushed face finish, revealing beautiful reflections of the red brakes that hide behind the wheels. Measuring 20×9 in the front and 20×12.5 in the rear, our forged wheels, manufactured right here in our Miami-based, TUV-Verified factory made for the perfect fit, complimenting the extended width of the Rocket Bunny aero kit wonderfully.

On the flipside, Paul’s sea foam green Lexus RC F brought full track-inspired goodness to the table. Fitted with coilover suspension and the matching Rocket Bunny rear wing, Paul’s company, Premier Wraps, skinned the entire car, aero kit and all, in the gloss sea foam green finish you see before you, and even upon the most scrutinous inspection, one would think it was painted.

There’s no point in trying to improve something that’s already a perfect fit, so Paul’s Rocket Bunny Lexus RC F was fitted with matching Vossen Forged: Precision Series VPS-310 wheels in 20×9 front and 20×12.5 rear fitment, but instead in a smoke brushed finish to better compliment the seafoam hue of the car. We’ll be the first to admit, though, that we can’t help but wonder what the two cars would look like if they swapped wheels!

In typical Vossen-shoot-fashion, as quick as we came we were also on our way, chasing the sun for one last chance at some rolling shots with Toronto’s skyline playing the support role.

There’s something really special about a Novitec-outfitted Ferrari 458. The bits of carbon flare that encompass the 458’s aesthetic really set it apart from its OEM counterpart, which is rare because in so many cases it’s impossible to truly improve on the an exotic car’s original design. So when one Novitec Ferrari 458 happens upon another Novitec Ferrari 458, it’s as if the stars have aligned and all is balanced in the world, and for any passersby that are fortunate enough to witness it, it’s nothing short of breathtaking. Enter: The Vossen Forged Ferrari 458’s.

Now, those privy eyes might recognize the white 458, shown above and in the video from an certain eBay listing and Jalopnik article some years ago, and you’re correct. We managed to track down the new owner of our previous Ferrari 458 Novitec project to come out and snap some photos and film some video with us. And while he didn’t pay the $1.3 million asking price, he was satisfied enough with his experience to come back and re-outfit the 458 with a different Precision Series model, the VPS-307.

Meanwhile, on the otherside of the road, and elevator, you’ll find our current Ferrari 458 project, in a very rare Rosso Fuoco Opaco matte metallic red paint. Also fitted with all of Novitec’s trimmings, the RFO (also an abbreviation for red foreign object, given it’s exotic roots) sports our VPS-310 wheels, completing the pair of Vossen Forged Ferrari 458’s.

You might have recognize this beautiful M4, as it was featured here as part of our “dual M4” shoot, but now it’s back with a new look. Zach was anticipating our lightweight Vossen Forged wheels being released, and when he heard they were becoming available he immediately put in his order for another upgrade to his M4.

THE CAR

The BMW “M” Legend grows with the new 2015 M4. However, BMW decided to continue naming sedan as the M3 whilst dubbing the new coupe as the M4. New name, same purpose—to be one of the best all around sport luxury vehicles on the planet.

Zack chose the jaw-dropping “Sakhir Orange” finish for both the exterior and interior and with the black accents throughout, and we have to admit, it looks fantastic. He’s only had the car since August, so for now he’s touched up the black grill and side markers for a cleaner look. The bright blue “M” calipers offer a nice contrast to the overall theme. The stealth graphite Vossen Precision Series Wheels give it the perfect menacing look that Zack was aiming for.

The Wheels

Zack’s M4 features our beautiful VPS-310 Vossen Forged: Precision Series wheels in stealth graphite finish. Sized 20×9.5 up front and 20×11 in the rear, this creates a much more appealing fitment than the stock rollers while also being a lightweight, forged 6061-T6 wheel. One big advantage to him selecting VPS wheels is that we can specifically design the spoke profile to his liking, in this case resulting in mid-concave fronts complimented by very deep-concave rears. The forged 6061-T6 material means these wheels can take the beating Zack dishes out, as showcased our short film of the car (click here to view).

The Day

The bright graffiti found in the Wynwood Art District of Miami was a perfect backdrop for the Sakhir Orange finish, accompanied by a touch of dust and tire smoke here and there. Zack has become a regular around the Vossen offices and events, so it was no surprise that some of our staff came out to watch the Zack demonstrate his Sunday driving habits—no Ms. Daisy here!
