Our friend Fernando picks up one of our favorite cars, the legendary Nissan GT-R and gives it the VFS-5 touch…

I’ve watched closely as the local South Florida GT-R crew has grown from a handful of guys to repping 30 plus deep at local meets and events and its contagious! Fernando obviously was watching too, already having a modified Lexus GS 350 F-Sport on Vossen’s but wanting something way more sinister for his weekends….Enter his 2014 Nissan GT-R Black Edition…

With 545 peak horsepower stock and a physics defying trick AWD system the Nissan GT-R has made a name for itself as one of the all time greats. Obviously we all know Diego loves it! Fernando moved quickly in modifying his Black Edition to avoid the “stock” jokes of the local crew. Obviously the biggest change was adding our new Flow-Formed VFS-5’s on Nitto NT01’s.

Fernando’s GT-R has mid-concave VFS-5’s,  20×9.5 front and a deep concave 20×10.5 rear in our gloss graphite finish wrapped in Nitto NT01’s measuring 285/35/20 front and 315/30/20 rear. I love the white tire stickers giving it an additional sporting touch and the overall contrast with the trademark GTR gold brakes.

In addition his GT-R is lowered on Swift R Springs and rocks high quality Stillen Side Skirts and their Front Skid plate. Rounding off the rear are Rexspeed Rear Spats. Its amazing how just a few small touches can augment the GT-R’s muscular yet very aerodynamic lines.

You might notice how spotless this GT-R is. Fernando is known in the crew as their unofficial professional detailer and is always offering his help in keeping their GT-R’s looking mint. I’ve seen his cars in person myself and they are spotless. The guys met up after the West Palm Beach Cars and Coffee for this particular shoot, make sure you see the entire gallery of photos!

You can find Fernando’s spotless GT-R all over South Florida meets and car events as the local GT-R crew has added one more family member!
