We start off VFS-5 week, the latest revolutionary flow-formed wheel from Vossen, with the one of a kind 850hp Vossen E63 S Wagon tuned by RENNtech
No that first line wasn’t a typo….the Vossen Project Mercedes-Benz E63S 4 Matic wagon with a Stage III RENNTtech package puts down right over 850hp…..and 1,000 lbs of torque! Naturally it seemed like the perfect launch vehicle for the all new Vossen VFS-5…
We plan to feature our amazing AMG in the near future so we won’t divulge too much more information on it. What we will share is we knew the all new VFS-5 would be the perfect wheel for this wagon.
The mercedes designo diamond white metallic paint is simply amazing and the RENNtech carbon fiber kit gives our AMG a very aggressive and aerodynamic look. To match that further all chrome was deleted and gloss graphite VFS-5 wheels were chosen. Measuring 20×9 up front an 20×10.5 in the rear these flow form technology wheels fill out this AMG’s wheel wells compared to the thinner stock setup.
In addition one of the new advantages of the VFS-5 is even more big brake clearance due to the change in engineering and design with no rear drop center. This allows us to fit our upgraded 16″ Brembo brakes up front and 15″ Brembo GT brakes in the rear using Racing Type 3 discs no issues with caliper clearance.
As for the design, we have updated the classic split 5-spoke with the usual Vossen attention to detail with a sharper design with spokes extending and cut into the wheel edge. It is a very sporty and aggressive looking wheel which matches magnificently with the upgrades to our AMG E63 Wagon.
Vossen pioneered the deep concave wheel and the VFS-5 continues this design and engineering tradition. Utilizing flow formed technology, the VFS-5 is lighter and stronger than our previous Monoblock CV designs.
The new VFS-5 is available now from your authorized Vossen Dealers in over 40 countries around the world. Maybe you will catch our 850hp AMG Wagon in the Miami area but more than likely only when its parked!
