The Novitec Lamborghini Aventador SV and its NV1 forged wheel is easily one of the most exciting projects we’ve had the pleasure of working on over the years. The opportunity to team up with one of the most revered tuning firms in the world to design and manufacture such a unique forged wheel is something that most can only dream of. After months of designing and engineering, we made the trek to Stetten, Germany, to see the NV1 forged wheels fitted on Novitec’s Aventador SV.
After battling snow and rain showers all morning, Philipp Rupprecht, Novitec’s wildly-talented photographer, arrived and it was time to load up the car and bring it to the main photoshoot location. Not knowing what to expect as we pulled into a run-down industrial area, Philipp led us into an empty warehouse and it instantly became clear that this location was no accident. Completely vacant and on the brink of falling apart, the warehouse was the perfect setting for Philipp’s photoshoot.
While Philipp and his assistant, Philipp, worked away, intricately lighting the NV1-clad Lamborghini Aventador SV, we did our best to capture them in action, revealing the inner workings of such an incredible photoshoot. Philipp was even
kind enough to sit down with us for a couple minutes to walk us through how he attacked the shoot, as seen in the video above.
