Acura of Pembroke Pines has been the #1 Acura dealership the past five years so they are no stranger to success but are always open to expanding their horizons. Enter Mike Chang’s vision and Vossen Wheels. Mike is their Parts/Service Director and a long time car enthusiast who saw huge opportunities to expand Acura’s enthusiast market with Vossen all while making his customers extremely happy.  As you can see in the video and pictures, this dealership again sets itself apart by appealing to those that want to stand out from the usual stock car.

KJ (@Kdot_Vossen) introduced us to Mike Chang and we spoke about not just installing wheels on Acura vehicles but doing some co-marketing and partnering together to showcase the dealership and any builds done. We both saw significant opportunity to bring this car to enthusiasts attention. Mike moved fast and became the first person in the world to modify the new TLX last summer which he dubbed #thetlxproject. After people saw Mike’s TLX debut and felt his passion for modifying, they started to modify their own TLX’s as well.

From there Mike has modified the entire lineup including the only modified 2016 ILX (#theilxproject), continuing to forge the path for others to follow. While Acura seems to be have forgotten enthusiasts, Mike is proving there are people internally that haven’t lost that tuner passion.

Another example is their popular MDX here sitting perfectly on our 22×9 size wheels which fills the fenders much better than the stock wheels and gives this SUV a more upscale look. Wheels are the number one accessory people desire to change and with Vossen’s reputation for quality and class leading designs, they are perfect for the entire lineup.

Mike made time for us on a Sunday to film and showcase his dealership and we chatted it up with some of his service guys who were there assisting. it was great to talk cars with these guys and hear their feedback. The entire store was spotless including the service area. Mike then previewed the new TLX project car, this time in black and we ended the day talking about a possible NSX project car together. It is great to see a car dealership like this support an enthusiast like Mike and embrace modifying cars and we can’t wait to see whats next from them!
