Hey everyone, happy 2016! We know it was over a month ago now, but we’ve been slammed and playing catch-up after a long trip to Japan for Tokyo Auto Salon and our Vossen Japan Owners Meet. Now that we’re back, we took a moment to look back on how we kicked off the year, with the Toyo Tires x Superstreet 2016 Calendar Launch!
Early on a Saturday morning we gathered at our Miami-based TUV Verified forged wheel factory and welcomed scores of local cars and people to our factory. With a couple tours detailing the entire manufacturing process taking place throughout the morning and breakfast snacks for everyone to enjoy, there was a lot of excitement in the air.
Just before Christmas we debuted a handful of cars on the new Vossen Forged: LC Series wheels at Wekfest Florida, so there was an abundance of the new lip concept wheels to take a look at, on everything from our high-horsepower Mercedes-Benz Duo to my Thule-equipped VW GTI, with Lexus RCs, BMWs, and the Vossen GT4 in between.
Some of the ladies gracing the pages of the new Toyo Tires x Superstreet 2016 Calendar were in attendance too, passing out calendars and walking throughout the cars in their matching Toyo jumpsuits. Red Bull was also in the house giving us “wings” along with Eagle One keeping all the cars cleaned up.
